    On May 12, 2023. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Chairman of the Education and Human Resources Council, launched the Higher Colleges of Technology’s (HCT) new strategy under the theme “Shaping the Future''.

    The core objective of this strategy is to chart a new path for the applied education model, aligning it with the UAE's leadership vision of nurturing Emirati human capital. This entails equipping individuals with high-quality skills, proficiency, and adaptability to effectively respond to swift changes and transformations. Ultimately, this initiative will bolster the UAE's competitiveness in building a sustainable economy.

    We proudly present the HCT 4.0 strategic plan, a testament to our unwavering commitment to the vision and initiatives set forth by our esteemed leadership, aimed at enhancing the preparedness of Emiratis for the challenges of the future. This strategic plan is a direct result of the visionary directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

    Over the course of more than 30 years, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) has consistently upheld its position as the UAE's largest and foremost applied higher education institution. Our mission has been to empower generations of students to actively participate in shaping the future of the UAE. We achieve this by offering a diverse range of academic and applied programs meticulously designed to equip our students with knowledge and skills that are not only in high demand locally but also adhere to international standards of excellence.
