Over the past 17 years, Paradigm Design Group has grown into an award-winning international hospitality interior design firm, highly regarded by major hotel brands across the world. What started as a business endeavor between Lisa Haude and her husband, Carl Haude, has since become a primarily female-led company that has achieved success in many facets of the workplace and industry. Notably, in the past year, Paradigm Design Group went from running two offices to three, its most recent addition being the San Francisco office, which opened in August 2017.
Since 2001, the firm has worked with world-renowned hotels, such as, the award-winning Portland Marriott Downtown, Cliff House Maine and the Roosevelt Waldorf Astoria in New Orleans, which was recently honored with the 2018 BUILD award.
In addition to the 2018 BUILD Awards, Paradigm Design Group was also recognized as a winner of the 2017 ASID Hospitality Awards, 2017 Lone Star Small Business Awards, 2017 Woman Run Workplace Stevie Awards (bronze) and the firm’s President, Lisa Haude, was awarded the 2017 Woman of the Year Stevie Award (bronze).
Speaking to its recognized success in the interior design industry, the Paradigm Design Group team consistently secures large projects, acquires new clients, and proudly expands their team as their client list continues to grow. Of note, the firm currently has a two-month waiting list for new projects and is excitedly working on the launch of their first licensed grouping of designs, which will be unveiled soon.
By further developing a strategic social media and communications plan, Paradigm Design Group has seen exponential growth in their social media following, most notably on Instagram. In January 2017, Paradigm Design Group had grown their following to 22,000, which was already a 500% increase from the previous year. Today, Paradigm Design Group has almost doubled their early 2017 following, reaching 42,900 followers, and counting.
Committed to giving back to their communities, Paradigm Design Group also volunteers with various foundations and organizations, including Love 146, an international human rights organization working to end child trafficking and exploitation, and Tricity Family Services, an institution that provides counselling and mental health services to impoverished Chicago communities.
Further involved in their communities, Paradigm Design Group also continues to mentor young professionals in Geneva, IL, Houston, TX and San Francisco, CA. A few of their contributions to their communities include holding internships for young talent in the Houston office, mentoring high-risk youth in the SF Bay Area, and reviewing art show submittals and explaining/promoting the interior design industry to Geneva elementary schools. Paradigm Design Group also provides mentorship to a design student who attends NY School of Design.
In addition to dedicating their time to the wellbeing of youth in their communities, Paradigm Design Group recently financially donated to Hurricane Harvey relief and helped coordinate additional donations through clients and acquaintances.
Through their work, Paradigm Design Group is setting a new standard in the industry. Their work this year has proven successful with the opening of their third office, press placements in major publications, including but not limited to Hotel Management, Huffington Post and Hospitality Trendz, and tremendous growth seen in their social media channels.
