Odeabank, the young and innovative player of the banking sector in Turkey, continued its support to basketball by sponsoring 2016-2017 Turkish Airlines Euroleague, the most important basketball tournament in Europe. Odeabank, giving paramount importance to providing added value not only in banking services but also in all aspects of life, has been providing sponsorship support to 3 major basketball teams in Turkey for the past 3 seasons. Odeabank has become the regional sponsor of Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Europe's leading professional basketball competition, and the global sponsor of the Final Four.

As a bank established from scratch in 2012, Odeabank began its first sponsorship in professional basketball in 2013 by being the name sponsor of the Galatasaray Women's Basketball team. It extended its basketball sponsorship in time, supporting the Galatasaray Odeabank Men's Basketball Team, the Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team and the Besiktas Women's Basketball Team and finally extending its support into the international arena.

Under the name sponsorship of Odeabank, the Galatasaray Women's Basketball Team was the first and only Turkish team to become the winner of the 2013-2014 Euroleague Women; the Galatasaray Men's Basketball Team was the first and only Turkish team to win the 2015-2016 7Days Eurocup under the name sponsorship of Odeabank; with the sponsorship of Odeabank, the Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team played in the finals for the first time in its history in the 2015-2016 THY Euroleague and became the first Turkish team to win the Euroleague in the 2016-2017 THY Euroleague season sponsored by Odeabank.

With the sponsorship aimed at raising Turkish basketball to an even higher level and giving support to 'all' teams that compete in the league, as “The Bank of Basketball” Odeabank has positioned its brand in the THY Euroleague, one of the largest sports events of the world which hosted more than 500 games between October 2016 and May 2017, having 180 million followers, 515 million digital penetration and 43 million video views on social media.

The Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team sponsored by Odeabank for 2 seasons, competed in the Final Four in the THY Euroleague where 4 Turkish teams competed and succeeded in the European Champion at the end of the tournament in the 2016-2017 season. The fact that the Final Four games organized in Istanbul reached a total of 2.4 billion local and international viewers, proves that Odeabank's THY Euroleague sponsorship has been a correct strategic decision heightened by Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team winning the championship.

Sustaining its sense of corporate social responsibility by sponsoring Final Four, Odeabank combined it with a campaign which promoted basketball on the street level. Within the scope of the campaign entitled “Money in the Bank”, Odeabank donated a total of 333 Euros for each 3 point shot scored during the Final Four. With the contributions of Odeabank, the restoration of the basketball court in Cennet Park in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul has been funded by the amount collected from the 78 three-pointers scored during the championship finals.

The EuroLeague has also endorsed the “Money in the Bank” project on social media with the promotional videos where players from the Final Four teams participated. The promotional films which were also released on the official webpage of EuroLeague,, have had 185K and 108K impressions & 40K and 14K views on Facebook and Twitter respectively.. Odeabank has also organized a competition on social media to announce the project and gave entrance tickets to the Final Four organized at Sinan Erdem Sports Center between May 19 and 21, to 3 of its followers who expressed the excitement of Final4 by sharing a photo of themselves raising 3 fingers with the hashtag #OdeaTriples.
