North Strategic is Canada’s fastest-growing, national public relations and social media agency, with a proven track record for delivering bold, creative and insight-driven campaigns that help leading brands to improve the business impact of their communications strategies.

North Strategic Inc. was acquired by Publicis Groupe in November 2016. We are a sister agency to MSLGROUP in Canada. We also have a content company called Notch Video that creates social media content for the vast majority of our clients.

We continue to expand thanks to strong revenue growth driven by new business wins and the agency expanding its role with key existing clients. Compared to the industry norms of single digit growth in the PR agency world, our growth is unmatched by others in the industry.

The growth is fueled by new business that adds new clients to our roster plus the impressive organic growth of clients that have been with us for more than one year. Over the past year, North has added significant new brands to its family of clients, including: American Express Canada, The Home Depot Canada, BMW Canada, Budweiser Canada, , Ticketmaster, GoDaddy and Nestle’s Purina brand.

In November 2016, North was recognized by the prestigious New York City-based Holmes Report as Canada’s PR Agency of the Year for the second year in a row. That month, North was also awarded “PR Agency of the Year – Bronze” by Strategy Magazine.

As a passionate and entrepreneurial group North blazes new trails, which continue to be mimicked and copied by others in the industry. From creating a “no timesheet” agency, to the creation of our content division, to our industry leading influencer marketing strategies, North sets the bar that other agencies begin to emulate.

As a testament to this, the past year has been great for human resources related awards at North Strategic. In October 2016, North’s Calgary office was recognized by Alberta Venture as one of Alberta’s Best Workplaces, winning awards for “Best Overall, Under 100 Employees” and “Best Workplace for Benefits, Perks & Incentives.” On April 25, 2017, North Strategic was recognized as one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2017 by Canada's Top 100 Employers. In November 2017, North Strategic was recognized as one of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures by Waterstone Human Capital.

Over the past year, the agency also saw dramatic growth as a company as well, with the workforce growing to 78 employees, an annual growth of 24% for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2017.
