LLORENTE & CUENCA is the leading reputation, communication and public affairs management consultancy firm in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. It has 19 partners and 500 professionals throughout its 18 offices located in a total of 13 countries. The two leading sector publications rank it among the most important communication firms in the world. It is number 51 for revenue worldwide, according to the 2017 PRWeek Global Agency Business Report and is number 57 on The Holmes Report 2017 Global Ranking.
It has offices in Argentina, Brazil (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro), Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), the United States (Miami, New York and Washington, DC), Mexico, Panama, Peru, Portugal and the Dominican Republic. Furthermore, it operates in Cuba and offers its services through subsidiaries in Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua. It is also a member of AMO, the leading corporate and financial communication consulting firm network meaning it can manage projects all over the world.
It ended the year 2016 with revenue for global fees totaling 33.8 million euros which is 12.5 percent more than the prior year, with exchange differences considered.
LLORENTE & CUENCA puts its clients at the forefront of its business and has defined its 2017-2019 Strategic Plan on these grounds. The Plan arose following in-depth reflection by the partners, directors and teams working on its various operations. Its cornerstones, challenges and programs were developed based on certain starting evidence: the lack of a reference in communication management opened up an opportunity to offer its own methodology: “the (R)evolution of Communication and Public Affairs”. #LLYCustomercentric.
Its contribution to improving society with its knowledge and experience in communication materialized through the creation of the Fundación LLORENTE & CUENCA foundation. During its first year, 40% of its global workforce signed up for the volunteer program and the LLORENTE & CUENCA Group supports the Foundation’s activities with an annual minimum contribution of 0.7% of its revenue.
International expansion is one of the firm’s other cornerstones. United States, Cuba and Central America were the keys this year. In March, we inaugurated a Latam Desk in New York in collaboration with the firm Abernathy MacGregor, a hub that works as an extension of operations in Miami. Moreover, Salomón Kalach was named Director of this Latam Desk in June 2017, to help build the brand’s reputation in the US market. This addition will help manage commercial relations based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut).
LL&C was the first international firm to provide consulting services for international relations associated with the process of establishing and developing foreign investments in Cuba. To introduce these services, it is party to a collaboration agreement with the state-owned consultancy firm Sociedad Estatal de Consultores Asociados (CONAS).
This expansion process has been reinforced through an agreement with the consulting firm CLC Comunicación making it our exclusive Subsidiary for Central America. This partnership will make it possible to offer more up-close and friendly services to clients doing business in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Belize.
It is the most award-winning communication firm in the markets where it operates. It received 105 national and international awards between January 2016 and June 2017. Some of its award-winning projects include the communication of the Panama Canal expansion with Sacyr, ‘Unbeatables’ by Sanitas, ‘Delicious Peace and Children of Understanding’ with Campofrío and McCann and The Inovathon Challenge 2016 by Scania.
