Turkey has big young population with huge internet, active social media, and unique mobile and active mobile social user customer base. Economic expansion in last 2 decade has increased the number of people with a disposable income that exceeds basic needs. The new upper middle (mass affluent) and middle class (mass) will be characterized by a greater level of choice with respect to consumption and be demanding end to end enriched mobile buying experiences that are attuned to their daily live and lifestyles.
Customers are highly focused on mobile first and setting new standards for convenience, timely and efficient service, transparency, better value for money, personalization and user experience.
Despite the aforementioned situation, there is no unique value proposition positioned as a digital ecosystem in Turkish market. Some banks have their own mobile wallet applications serving only their customers with card management and campaign features.
Maximum Mobil (MM) is a digital ecosystem offering unique buying experiences for user’s daily life with minimum effort and maximum benefit. Unlike other banks' payment apps, both Isbank and other banks’ customers can benefit the advantages of the app. It provides unique buying experiences such as movie tickets and fuel-oil purchasing without getting out of the car for users’ daily life with seamless end to end customer experience.
The differentiated features of Maximum Mobil are instant card offer and being able to cancel their cards temporarily for a specific period of time. Maximum Mobil is also offering customers who lose or have it stolen the chance to instantly replace their cards on their mobile phones and use it digitally without waiting their actual card.
Maximum Mobil unique value proposition has three benefit groups for customers as “Offers & Deals”, “Payments” and “Cards Management”
From “Offers & Deals” menu, Maximum Mobil provides real-time and location-based offers as well as standard campaigns of Maximum Loyalty Program. Isbank customers could easily join campaigns that are organized with hundreds of merchants in Turkish retail banking sector annually and monitor their status for joined campaigns. They can also share campaigns with friends.
In addition Maximum Mobil provides users –end to end- experience to buy Cinemaximum (the largest cinema chain in Turkey) cinema tickets in seconds anytime and anywhere. With this feature application displays the closest theaters based on users’ location or their favorites. Users can see all the movies shown at Cinemaximum, choose the sessions and the seats available and buy the tickets. After buying a ticket users can directly go to their seat and enjoy movie without a printed paper ticket. The app has also image processing technology and users can trigger payment transaction just by scanning the movie poster. Currently this technology is integrated with Cinemaximum; users can by ticket from movie posters.
“Offers & Deals” menu also contains POAS Pay-Pass feature. Petrol Ofisi A.S. (POAS) is Turkey’s leading fuel product distributor with more than 1700 stations. Maximum Mobil users can purchase fuel without getting out of the car. The unique difference from similar solutions in the market is its wide coverage. Maximum Mobil is the only mobile application in Turkey can be used at more than 1.000 POAS stations. This new feature was added on the app at 8th April 2017.
In “Payments” menu, MM supports both QR and Mobile Contactless (HCE based) technologies for payments.
Maximum Mobil enables Isbank customers to pay at contactless POS terminals at more than 120 thousands of merchants if their mobile phones are compatible.Customers pay bills of 50+ service companies instantly under Payments menu.
Customers could see their balances, available limit, future installment and transactions in details. They could also track their card expenditures in categories as a Personal Finance Management (PFM) service, install and postpone their credit card transactions.
Both Isbank and other bank customers could apply for a new card and track the status of their application under "Card Management" menu.
