Eduardo Vieira is a Brazilian journalist, partner and founder of Ideal Group, a holding company created in partnership with the WPP group, that controls, in Brazil, the operations of two communications agencies: Ideal H+K Strategies and Ogilvy Public Relations. He´s also the Co- CEO of Ideal H+K Strategies.

Vieira’s role as a partner and senior executive of a group inside WPP, as long as a successful entrepreneur, is to influence the digital media environment and contribute to connect the values and purpose of his clients to the needs of their stakeholders, telling a legit story that will help them to influence people.

After years working in newsrooms of large vehicles, Vieira became a respected and well-known journalist, and jumped in an entrepreneurial adventure in 2007, when, together with his partner, Ricardo Cesar, he created Agência Ideal. The goal was to develop the first hybrid communications agency in Latin America to work, at first, with Google in Brazil. Vieira led the creation of Agência Ideal based on an innovative model, totally media agnostic, working with earned, owned and paid media at the same time.

Five years after its foundation, Ideal became one of the seven largest agencies in Brazil, with over 50 customers, 180 people and solid financial results, raising interest of all major international communications groups. In the same year, 2012, Vieira and his partner led the creation of a holding company called The Next Group, acquiring three other companies. In 2015, The Next Group was acquired by the WPP group and was renamed as Grupo Ideal (Ideal Group). As part of the deal, Agência Ideal absorbed the local office of H+K Strategies and became Ideal H+K Strategies. Currently, the agency has almost 200 employees, working with over 70 clients.

Under the management of Vieira, Ideal H+K has been recognized three time as the Best Agency of Brazil by Comunique-se and a Top Agency by Mega Brasil, both important local communications awards. Also, it has been chosen as a Great Place to Work/Best Agency to Work. According to prScope/Grupo Consultores, the agency has Top Brazilian Communications Professional. Ideal H+K has also won different international awards, such as: SABRE Awards Latin America, International Business Awards (twice), Marketing Best Awards and Google PR Awards.

Since Eduardo Vieira has started his career as an entrepreneur, he has been a pioneer in discussions about Digital PR and the convergence between Public Relations and Publicity, all this through Ideal H+K. He is currently renowned as one of the greatest Brazilian businessman of the new generation, with much prominence in Communications & Digital Media. He is also considered by the market an expert in Reputation Building and Public Relations, having led local (Brazil), regional (Latin America) and global communication jobs for dozens of Fortune 500 companies.

Over the years, Vieira has been recognized as: Entrepreneur of Success by PEGN Magazine (a Brazilian version of Inc. Magazine); Evangelist of the Future and Leader of the Future by the Communication for Future Awards (C4F); Communications Executive of the Year by Aberje (Brazilian Association of Business Communications) and one of the top 3 Corporate Communications Professional in Brazil. Besides winning prizes, Eduardo Vieira has participated as juror on different national and international awards: SABRE Awards Latin America, El Ojo Iberoamerica Festival and Wave Festival Brazil.
