2016 was a special year for Hilti that also saw strong financial results. As a result, we wanted the company report to reflect the specialness of the year both in terms of content and design. The stories illustrate how employees, customers and partners around the world were inspired by Hilti. The report finishes with what were strong financial results. In terms of language, the style ranges from factual reporting on short texts and financial topics, to personal interviews to longer articles having a narrative form. The company report’s design aspiration is fresh, modern and dynamic.

Up to now both the interest in the 2016 company report, and the enthusiasm it has generated, are quite substantial, largely due to the special cover layout and design: The Hilti toolbox is the brand icon and it quite rightly plays a crucial role. Sections were cut out of more than 3000 old Hilti toolboxes and used to bind the report copies The signs of wear on the toolboxes bear witness to the harsh day-to-day environment on the construction site and make each copy of this report unique. Special packaging for a special year.
