Tell the story about what this nominated organization has achieved since 1 January 2017 (up to 650 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms.

Glance Technologies owns and operates Glance Pay, a streamlined payment system that revolutionizes how smartphone users choose where to shop, order goods and services, make payments, access digital receipts, redeem digital deals, earn great rewards and interact with merchants. Glance offers targeted in-app marketing, geo-targeted digital coupons, customer feedback, in-merchant messaging and custom rewards programs. The Glance Pay mobile payment system consists of proprietary technology, which includes user apps available for free downloads in iOS (Apple) and Android formats, merchant manager apps, a large-scale technology hosting environment with sophisticated anti-fraud technology and lightning-fast payment processing. Glance also owns an end-to-end blockchain solution for a rewards-based cryptocurrency which is currently being integrated into the Glance Pay App.

Since January of 2017, Glance has experienced exponential growth and launched industry-changing innovation. Glance Pay opened its services to quick-pay restaurants and was ranked the #1 downloaded restaurant payment app in North America with 16,000+ users. The company also opened office locations in Silicon Valley, London, and Melbourne, Australia.

Glance Pay was designed to streamline the dining experience and help restaurants and other businesses build customer loyalty. With that in mind, Glance added new features that allow businesses to offer incentives to consumers with all incentives and “loyalty points” tracked within the app making it easier for customers to redeem the rewards on return visits to the business.

At the start of 2018, Glance Pay celebrated one year of zero fraud system-wide and record revenue. The company also expanded to serve the automotive industry, specifically auto repair shops that use the app to let customers pay wherever they may be.

Glance was selected to be part of an exclusive group of restaurant technology start-ups exhibiting at the restaurant industry’s biggest event, the National Restaurant Association’s Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show with more than 43,000 attendees. Glance had to meet strict and specific criteria to win the invitation to the event.

This summer, Glance expanded its services to allow people to pay their parking tickets with the app. Vancouver is the first city to use the technology which has the ability to help cities around the world with their billion dollar problem of unpaid parking tickets.

Besides its mobile payment app, Glance Technologies is also leading the way in cryptocurrency and blockchain innovation and launched new anti-fraud technology for cryptocurrencies and created its own Glance Coin that is integrated with its Glance Pay loyalty rewards program. Only midway through the year and Glance is already celebrating its record pace of restaurant signings and launches.

Because of his expertise, Glance’s co-founder and CEO, Desmond Griffin was invited to speak at the inaugural Blockchain Davos Conference that coincided with the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

As a leader in cryptocurrency and blockchain, Glance hosted a sold-out Future of Blockchain Summit that brought together industry experts from a variety of fields including art history and healthcare to share how the emerging technology can help their industries.

Glance continues to expand its reach and integrations with partnerships with key players in blockchain including BIG Blockchain Intelligence Group which positions Glance front and center in the global market.
