GittiGidiyor, which was founded in 2001 and the leading e-commerce marketplace in Turkey with its 17 years of history, further strengthened its leading position after joining under the global e-commerce giant eBay's roof in 2011. With an average of 70 million visits per month and a total of 20 million registered members, GittiGidiyor is the most preferred shopping site in Turkey and it has become "The host of e-Commerce" in Turkey with its feature of being a secure shopping platform where individual vendors, SMEs and large businesses can open and expand their businesses

With the goals of helping classic retailers and SMEs growth, and strengthening its platform with informed sellers, GittiGidiyor has to date brought many projects to life and is the official store for more than 200 brands. Coca-Cola Store, Fischer Price, SPX, Logitech, Sony and Maybelline are among the brands that opened stores on GittiGidiyor in 2017. Different e-commerce sites such as Dekorazon, Sportsoul and Idefix are also opening stores on GittiGidiyor, taking advantage of its traffic, which can reach monthly 70 million users.

GittiGidiyor strives not only for its own goals, but also for the development of e-commerce sector in Turkey and sets good examples through its internal and external project activities for the business world. With "The Inspiring Seller Stories" project,GittiGidiyor brought good examples of success stories together with sellers who wanted to grow in e-commerce and thrive in this field and implemented "My Future is E-Commerce" project which was the first of its kind in the sector in 2017. As part of the first step toward digital transformation for SMEs that want to expand their businesses through e-commerce, training was given in such fields as e-commerce approaches and dynamics in the world and in Turkey; consumer behavior and expectations in e-commerce, effective product listing and sales; buyers' expectations; successful sales pitch techniques; and performance coaches; to more than 2,000 sellers through 250 courses held in 5 provinces.

Within the scope of the My Future is E-Commerce project, a province in the sector was realized and permanent education offices were established. As a result of the success of the program which was started in August 2017, 584 SMEs benefited from the trainings and joined GittiGidiyor family only in a period of 4 months since it started. While targeting 1500 SMEs in 2018, targets have been increased by 30% in the first quarter of the year in line with the intense demand to the program. GittiGidiyor alsoeffectuated an innovative project for its loyal users and brought to life its loyalty program, the " Winners Club” which enables members to benefit from exclusive discounts, services, and campaigns.

Coming to the fore in Turkey as a corporation with social responsibilities, GittiGidiyor provides NGOs cost-free store services, enables them to open stores, and it creates the means for these organizations to gather donations by selling their own products.

GittiGidiyor signed the UN Global Compact and the Women's Empowerment Principles, which is a joint endeavor by the UN Social Gender Equality and the UN Women's Empowerment Units in 2017 and was the first online marketplace platform to join the WEPs signatories.

GittiGidiyor also became the first e-commerce company to invest in "E-Sports," and as one of its sponsors, it supported the 1907 Fenerbahce E-Sports Team win the League of Legends Turkey Championship in 2017.

GittiGidiyor accomplished the “subscription system” which is a huge innovation in e-commerce sector in Turkey to make users’ life easier in 2017. Thanks to the system, which allows subscribers to subscribe to products they have purchased continuously and to make quick shopping through reminder e-mails, the average number of subscribers has increased by 50% every month.

With 83 million monthly visitors in 2018, GittiGidiyor offers a fast and secure shopping experience for more than 15 million products and will continue to be pioneering and contributing in the e-commerce sector.
