Over the past year, Eff Creative Group has used vertical integration through design, technology and media to disrupt markets with innovative products for both clients and themselves. While individual agencies excel in either marketing, producing or distributing a product, the messaging created by brands for products often gets lost along the way, depleting chances of success. Eff has instead used a united vision backed by poignant strategy and the ability to execute to help clients blow through their expectations and even change entire industries.

In the summer of 2016, Lynn Tilton, a notoriously polarizing public figure, sought to build public support for her imminent legal battle with the SEC while supporting her efforts of bringing manufacturing into the USA. Instead of using traditional PR efforts to better her image through public statements, Tilton came to Eff for a social movement. Through an aggressive 3-month campaign, Eff garnered over a million social media followers behind Tilton and transformed her image from being a defeated public figure into a benevolent activist of job-creation for Americans. The success of this campaign created a groundswell of support which landed Tilton on the covers of large publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek.

Started by a group of leading pioneers from MIT, a fin-tech company called Knowvera, who owned a set of legacy trading platforms found Eff looking for a solution to their failing sales and lagging innovative principles. Despite millions of lines of code to evaluate and change, in 3 months of development Eff Creative Group created a brand new interface and architectural plan for their Web Trading Platform called Ticker Tocker that allowed investors and traders to quickly find, test, learn, share and execute trading concepts and strategies all without having to code themselves.

Eff’s own award-winning brainchild known as SpaghettiHeadz™, a patented hair accessory for girls made of an eco-friendly clay material, had monumental success as well. With custom collections for retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Target, and licensing partnerships with big labels such as Sony, Disney, Care Bears and Smurfs, our innovative product snowballed into a viral trending movement of creative play among girls worldwide - in the US, Korea and the Middle East becoming the Toy of the Year despite only using online advertising for promotion in an industry dominated by traditional TV-based marketing.

In the fashion industry, we successfully revamped our client Tommie Copper’s social media. Originally disconnected from their copper-compression crazy customers, through transforming the brand’s identity and key messaging, Eff made Tommie Copper not just a product, but also an inspiring story. Our innovative approach and creative execution bagged us an award at the Stevie American Business Award for Marketing campaign of the year 2017.

As well, a relaunch of Qurr, formerly “Re Muscle Health” a product line of Myos Rens Technology (Nasdaq: MYOS) transformed the fitness and health market. The product uses a patented compound found in fertilized chicken eggs called ‘Fortetropin’ and mixes it in powders and shakes to help users grow more muscle faster. While the benefits of the product are life changing, the previous brand’s appeal was ineffective using the most common prefix in the english language as it’s key identifier. The project’s transformation included redesigning all branding and completely relaunching all digital and traditional advertising efforts from scratch starting with a foundational strategy all developed by Eff from beginning to end. With the launch of a newly innovative platform and breaking edge marketing efforts, the new Qurr beat expectations within the first month of launch.

Overall, Eff Creative’s highly effective team put out work that disrupted markets and challenged entrenched titans. Eff’s achievements this year have transcended the growth in revenue we’ve earned for our clients or the success as Eff as an agency, but even more have proven the success of vertical integration in disrupting industries.
