For a project that has spanned for over 10 years, DHL’s GoTeach CSR is the perfect example of sustainable intervention in Education for Africa.
The project continues to improve the livelihood of Nigerian Youth. Using various growth hacks and employability models, Nigeria and African youth can now transit to local entrepreneurs and work life after and during their academic pursuit.
The experience gained through mentorship and interaction with DHL’s business processes and employees continue to impact their qualitative and quantitative growth socio-economically, giving them a leverage for support.
The Youth are exposed to real life business scenarios and knowhow in the workplace through Paid Internship/Apprenticeship Programs, Job shadowing and many other career development and orientation programs.
The partnership between DHL / SOS Children’s Villages themed GOTEACH impacted over 600 SOS Youths in 2017 through various educational activities and community interventions in Nigeria. We aim to continually expand the impact of the project, towards creating greater outcomes for our society.
