Datapipe is a leading managed service provider that provides comprehensive cloud services to customers around the globe. 2016 was a hallmark year for Datapipe’s dynamic growth; the year included a number of new partnerships, service offerings, and acquisitions that expand the company’s presence worldwide and further enabled our customers to grow their cloud solutions. Each of this year’s announcements is a testament to Datapipe’s continued innovation and desire to be at the forefront of the rapidly changing cloud industry, and combined, they demonstrate Datapipe’s leadership around the globe.

2016 included a number of announcements that highlight Datapipe’s international capabilities. In August, the company announced the acquisition ofAdvanced AWS Consulting Partner Adapt, which increased our scale and services in the United Kingdom and enhanced capabilities for our customers worldwide. We were also proud to introduce ourfirst data center in Russia, a decision made in response to a growing ecommerce industry and unique data sovereignty regulations in the country.

Datapipe recognizes the importance of the APAC market for global enterprises and grew its services accordingly in the region in 2016. In October, the company announced new support forAlibaba Cloud, a move that allows our customers in China to more easily scale outside of the country and our international companies to more easily grow their businesses in the country. Datapipe was alsorecognized by Microsoftas one of only four Direct Cloud Solution Providers in Hong Kong, demonstrating its leadership in guiding Azure-based environments in the APAC region. The announcement followed Asia Cloud Computing Association’s assertion that Hong Kong was the most “cloud-ready” market in 2016.

Datapipe’s expanded global services did not take away from the company’s general innovation in 2016. This year, the company announcedTrebuchet, a platform designed to accelerate cloud deployment for enterprise applications. The company also became one of the first to achievenew AWS migration competencyin June. Later, Datapipe demonstrated its commitment to security and underwent anSOC 2 auditto validate its data management services and provide customers with confidence in the company’s managed services in an industry increasingly focused on security measures.

The year marked one of industry recognition for Datapipe. In January, Datapipe Access Control Model for Amazon Web Services (DACMA) was named a2015 Storage, Virtualization, Cloud (SVC) Awards winnerin the Security Project of the Year category. The following November Datapipe won Cloud Project of the Year in the 2016 SVC awards for their work with client BMJ (British Medical Journal). In September, the company was awarded the top rank in the2016 Talkin’ Cloud 100 research reportfor superior customer services. Later, in December, Datapipe was recognized as one ofNew Jersey’s fastest growing companiesfor the eighth year in a row for its contributions to the state’s economic growth and stability. The company also receivedthree new competencies from AWSthat highlighted the company’s leadership in AWS cloud services.
