He leads industry peers in enabling important capabilities such as securing employee connected mobility, identifying and combating cyber-security threats to a company’s business viability, and building up Cisco’s credentials as a vendor of trustworthy IT products and solutions.

With his passion for advancing education and overcoming the deficit of security professionals, projected by experts to over two million workers by 2020, throughout 2017 John championed multiple cyber training initiatives across the Cisco employee base, country cyber education and research initiatives, and skilling up and advancing women in the field. He also launched the highly innovative Keep Cisco Safe campaign, to drive pervasive security into the company’s culture and motivate the entire Cisco workforce into action and security compliance.

In 2017, John and the entire Security and Trust Organization set new best practice standards within Cisco and the Security industry, and shared those practices with private and public sector organizations at large.
