The impact of TSI’s FEED TO LEAD program is felt by the communities we serve, but also by our employees and their families. TSI’s Michael Olverson wrote:
“Most companies now accept that happy customers come from happy employees. TSI takes this a step farther and embraces the fact that happy employees come from happy communities. My first interaction with TSI’s CEO, Dr. Marta Wilson, was during my interview process and during that first meeting I was pleasantly surprised to find that a good portion of our time was spent talking about the TSI’s Feed to Lead Program. Marta was genuinely proud of that program and I now know why. Through Feed to Lead I have had the opportunity to participate in wonderful events that I would have likely missed out on otherwise. All of which were in my community and for my community. My whole family now looks forward to being involved with events such as the 15k Run benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project and our annual TSI book drive supporting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation for Literacy.
I have the pleasure of working for a company that complements and encourages my ability to stand out among my peers. The company’s reputation and core values create an organization that others envy and I take extraordinary pride in being a part of that. I look forward to a long and rewarding future with TSI and enjoy to sharing this enthusiasm with anyone who will listen.”
