Briefly describe this entry’s communications objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 200 words):

The first “Direct-to-Nurse” movie, Heroic Hearts premiered at the ONS Congress in San Antonio. The documentary demonstrated the compassion and admiration felt toward oncology nurses by TESARO, the maker of transformative therapies for people bravely facing cancer. Featuring interviews with three nurses, as well as footage shot on the convention floor, the film highlighted what it means to be an oncology nurse—the resilience, bravery, and passion it takes to make a meaningful difference to those battling cancer. The screening was preceded by an educational presentation and followed by a short discussion about VARUBI, a supportive care therapy for recipients of chemotherapy. Complete with spotlights, popcorn, and exclusive tickets, the world premiere left nurses feeling valued, proud of their profession, and inspired. Secondary objectives were to provide support and resources to these nurses.
