The objective of KTA's Facebook page is to share important safety and travel information with those using the Kansas Turnpike. It provides a universal platform to reach people of all ages in a social environment. In the beginning, we focused on promoting K-TAG, safety blogs, and traffic updates. Today our use of Facebook has evolved to include more visual content, promotions, construction updates, and video. Engaging our community is an important part of our communication strategy, and we're proud to have a 100% response rate within seven minutes. Because of our focus on producing content that is easily digested on mobile devices, our page likes have more than doubled and our engagement rate averages 3.5 percent in the past 12 months.
