Briefly describe the nominated event's objectives and how it met those objectives (up to 525 words):

Celebration is the annual flagship event for Isagenix—a health and wellness product company that distributes products through direct selling.

Celebration 2015 was the largest Isagenix event to date. It was held August 15 – 18, 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center. Isagenix welcomed 12,000 attendees for three days of General Session, complete with 21 breakout sessions and six special receptions including the pinnacle event of the year, hosting 3,000 top leaders by invitation only, the Gala Awards Dinner.

Celebration, and all Isagenix events, are intended to help the field of Independent Isagenix Associates grow their businesses by building their belief in Isagenix products and the network marketing business model, commemorating their successes, and further equipping them with improved tools, training, and a developed game plan to launch their businesses to the next level.

Each attendee received a branded backpack filled with a program guide, 90-Day Game Plan workbook, business development tool, a recognition magazine, pen, and a notebook that assisted them during the main three days of the conference.

This event not only provided support for thousands of global Associates, it also raised $566,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and revealed a wish granted on stage for a little girl with a rare form of leukemia.

Space provided the greatest obstacle, requiring the logistical necessity on Day 2 to flip the General Session room from the 13,000 theater seat setup to a lavish Gala dinner setting of 300 10-top rounds in just four hours. The Gala is known to be the most exclusive and highly touted event, featuring the company’s top 3,000 honorees.

The energy of the General Session was nonstop excitement, complete with a grand opening experience, interactive lighting effects, custom music, pyrotechnics, smoke effects, and choreographed dancing. All attendees, trainers, and corporate staff were given a branded LED wristband programmed to activate in specific colors at impactful moments to emphasize the introduction of the theme, “Breakthrough.”

Noteworthy moments include: a live performance by Season 10 “So You Think You Can Dance” winner, Fik-Shun, an appearance by Poison’s lead singer, Bret Michaels, five product launches, the announcement of two third-party studies to be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and exciting special promotion reveals. Many of these key moments were captured via Livestream which allowed 13,000 Associates not in attendance to participate in this signature event.

Outside the General Session main room, Celebration included a 58,725 square-foot company name-branded store, a 43,350 square-foot Partner’s room, and a 128,083 square-foot room that held a qualification-only Leadership Meeting. Additionally, there were many other branded and themed ballrooms allocated for the Make-A-Wish workouts and 21 breakout sessions.

When our Associates attend an Isagenix Events, their chances of rank advancing increases by about 20%. 89% of Celebration 2015 attendees said they would recommend attending a future Celebration to other Associates, and 71% left the event with an actionable 90-Day Game Plan for their business.
