Following its spinoff from WestRock in May 2016, Ingevity worked with Business Wire to create a brand-new investor center for its public offering. Ingevity wanted the investor site,, to mirror its main website (created by Blue Ion) for a seamless end-user experience. Business Wire replicated the design while ensuring that information required for compliance (stock, SEC filings, corporate governance information) and investor materials (presentations, press releases, glossary of financial terms) were easily accessible. The home page links to information about Ingevity’s history, locations and commitment to sustainability.

The site allows investors to receive information the way they want it. Users can receive real-time news and SEC filings notifications by signing up for email alerts. They can also customize stock alerts based on price or percentage moves, to help plan their investment strategy. The site is responsive, which makes it accessible on multiple types of devices.

By the end of Ingevity’s first full month of trading, over 60 investors and analysts had signed up to receive alerts – and the number continues to grow. Investors view as an important resource, with a peak of 1,677 users visiting the site on the day of the second quarter 2016 earnings conference.
