At Home, the home décor superstore, is focused on providing customers with the broadest assortment of home décor products to suit any style, any room, at any budget, for any reason to redecorate. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, At Home operated 123 large format stores in 30 states. With a wide assortment of 50,000 items throughout our stores, At Home enables customers to express themselves and create a home that reflects their personality and style, in ways big and small.

In August of 2016, At Home completed an initial public offering as the first retail IPO that year. The Company used the proceeds to pay down $130M of indebtedness and further strengthen the balance sheet, receiving credit rating upgrades from both S&P and Moody's. The complicated and extensive process came to fruition successfully. At Home began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HOME and the Company offered 8.6 million shares of common stock and debuted above issue price at $15.66. With CEO Lee Bird leading the way, At Home has successfully transitioned into a newly empowered and rebranded public company that holds great promise in terms of national growth, sales and brand strength.

Despite a challenging retail environment, At Home’s business strengthened in the second and third quarters of 2016. In December the Company reported their third quarter earnings, which marked their 10th consecutive quarter of over 20% net sales growth and 11th consecutive quarter of positive comp store sales growth. These results demonstrated At Home’s dedication to their strategic priorities, which include in-depth knowledge of their customer; providing the largest and freshest assortment of home décor at the best value in the industry; ensuring customers an easy and enjoyable shopping experience; growing their store footprint in new and existing markets and running all aspects of the Company efficiently and effectively.

During a time when certain other retailers were closing stores, scaling back and reformatting to smaller square footage, At Home had 23 net new openings in big box formats. The new stores demonstrated strength across small, large, existing and new markets and include some of the strongest grand openings to date. The diversity of these locations, ranging from suburban Detroit and Minneapolis to Lafayette, Louisiana to the greater Salt Lake City area, and even their first location in the state of New York, highlighted the portability and successful broad appeal of the concept.

At Home also believes in a larger mission and purpose – to enable and inspire everyone to affordably make their house a home. Keeping the Company’s purpose top-of-mind, in 2016 At Home strengthened its national sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit that partners with people to build or improve a place they can call home. Keeping with the notion of ‘home,’ on a local level At Home also focused its philanthropic efforts in 2016 on nonprofit charitable organizations that support women and children through their need for shelter. The company believes everyone deserves to feel safe, stable and secure At Home.
