Nomination Title: Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Web Site

How often is this web site updated? The site was developed to accommodate the growing number of events, news, tastings and releases, all of these are dynamically managed by Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.

Briefly describe this site's objectives and how it has met those objectives (up to 125 words):

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars leapt to fame during their win at the historic 1976 Judgment of Paris. Their new, fully responsive digital home welcomes visitors into their story.

Relying on imagery and careful content strategy, the website is both high-end and welcoming. It highlights the brand’s differentiators of superlative product, historic influence, and on-property experience.

Through the site’s uncommonly bold, left-justified navigation, strategic user pathways facilitate ease of movement from product collections to purchasing, challenging the standard ”wine shop” experience. Users explore individual wines and check out, without rummaging through a cluttered wine shop. Commerce flows from brand more than brand flows from commerce.

Ultimately, SLWC’s new site now more fully reflects the luxury brand they’ve become while celebrating the history-making brand behind the bottle.
