How often is this site updated?  The Cisco Career's Website and Homepage is updated daily.

Briefly describe this site’s objectives and how it has met those objectives to date (up to 200 words):

Cisco’s Talent Brand mission is to make personal connections with future talent. When it came time to redesign our Careers Homepage, we had several objectives to align with our mission. We knew that among external candidates, the Careers Homepage was generally their first contact with Cisco.

We had to bridge the gap between external perceptions and employee realities. Candidates often view Cisco as an old, stodgy, tech dinosaur instead of a cool Silicon Valley startup. In reality, however, we operate like a startup, and have the strong culture to match.

How’d we do it? Our homepage is filled with photos of actual employees or a photo taken by an employee – no stock photography! The new brand was Be You, With Us, #WeAreCisco, to address the fact that candidates could be themselves and see themselves on a Cisco team. Using real employee photos allows us to present Cisco as a differentiated workplace by conveying our culture, values, and our people.

Then, instead of designing for how WE wanted to present information, we designed for the way candidates visit the site, and (through Usability Testing) created a navigation schema/information architecture that align with how candidates discover relevant information and jobs.
