The student admissions landscape (for college, internships, scholarships, etc.) is drastically changing towards holistic review of the candidates. 900 colleges and universities have made SAT/ACT optional. Lacking any formal platform, 40% admission officers use social media. K-12 grade schools lack tools for this new admissions processes and can’t prepare their students. This evolution is making it hard for students to keep up. Cirkled in is an award-winning electronic portfolio platform that takes the pain out of admission process, helps students showcase themselves and increases their acceptance rate. Initially Cirkled in started with direct marketing to students. In Sep 2016, we launched the school portal to reach more students and help schools better prepare students.
Cirkled in is a secure, student-centric, centralized platform to compile students’ achievements throughout their academic life, K-12, both inside and outside school. Students can share their holistic profile with recruiters and admission officers and increase their success rate. Cirkled in provides solution for:

2. Schools – better prepare students, improve operational efficiencies and track alumni.
3. Colleges and employers - get relevant, digestible information on an easy to use platform to find best-fitting candidates.
Cirkled in puts the student at center of the circle while helping other stakeholders, with its three-prong approach. On Cirkled in, Students maintain a live record of their activities and accomplishments in seven categories from Academics to Sports to Music. They can upload their records, certificates, awards, links to external videos, etc. to tell their holistic story. Cirkled in is built with multiple levels of security so students can manage their data without any worries.
Students can share their profile with recruiters and admission officers, for all applications like competitive summer-camp, internship, college and scholarships. By sharing their broad strengths and talents, students put their best foot forward and increase chances of acceptance. A progress report guides students and also shows list of people who have viewed their profile.
On Cirkled in teachers can view all their students’ profiles by the class. With a 30 second view of each student, teachers can tailor students’ learnings in the classroom by knowing them historically and holistically. Teachers also like the ability of giving recommendation to the whole class or an individual student.
Finally, there is a school portal where school administrator can monitor their current students and track their alumni, with a very intuitive and interactive dashboard.
