For 26 years, the BMO Global Metals & Mining Conference has been bringing investors and companies together to discuss projects and investment opportunities. After a sharp downturn in previous years, the metals & mining sector has been experiencing a significant, and welcome, return to prosperity. This year, we reaffirmed our commitment of helping our clients succeed with key improvements to our innovative conference App. The logistical backbone of the conference – the App helps attendees plan their schedule, set meetings, collect company documentation, and learn about any company announcements made during the Conference.

This year, some exciting changes were made to the app's user interface. We switched from a hidden slide-out navigation to a bottom navigation for improved accessibility and quicker access to the app's most popular features. Slicker animations and transitions were added for every touch-point, providing a more delightful client experience.

When user's signed in for the first time they were presented with a new onboarding experience, prompting users to configure their schedule sharing settings – the app's most popular feature. Based on last year’s client feedback, the schedule sharing settings was overhauled for simplicity and the onboarding helped them get their schedule setup before they started using them.
