Nomination Title: Kim Flynn, CEO

Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated entrepreneur since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

Kim Flynn is passionate about helping women play BIG in business. Since 2010, she has been hosting monthly Business Intensive Retreats to teach women (and a few brave men) how to automate, systematize, and grow their businesses. Since July 2014, she has sold thousands of copies of her #1 bestselling book "Playing BIG", hosted 42 live events including 16 three-day luxury retreats, purchased a lodge to host her retreats, and grew her business revenue 39% (continuing a track record of double and triple digit growth each year since 2010).

Kim has never met a problem that she didn't tackle head-on. After spending over one hundred thousand in short-term rentals for her retreats, she wanted to find a way to purchase her own event space. In early 2015, Kim purchased and renovated a 12,000 square foot lodge in the resort community of Park City, Utah. She renovated the vacant property, hooked up a well system, eliminated multiple gas leaks, eradicated a massive rodent and "critter" problem, furnished and decorated the property to sleep 50, and remodeled to create a 2,000 square foot conference room. She now hosts her Premiere Business Intensive Retreats at the lodge, as well as local retreats in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver and Seattle.

Kim's team strategy is unique: she employs mostly work-from-home, part-time women who are contracted as virtual assistants, which allows the mothers on her team the opportunity to develop their career while raising children. Kim's office provides free yoga classes and leadership training for all team members, as well as free day care services for the women as they come to meetings.

Kim's training focuses on teaching women entrepreneurs how to use her Plug & Play Business System to systematize each piece of business: product development, customer service & fulfillment, finance, marketing & sales, and leadership. They learn tools and processes for project management, marketing strategy and campaign building, sales tracking with revenue projections and profit margins, lead tracking & nurture, and finance tracking. Kim's Business Intensive Retreats provide real business education for women, in an industry that often only provides motivation and hype.

Kim has a 98% satisfaction rate among her retreat attendees. Her clients are not just happy: they are raving fans. Some client success stories include two clients with Oprah appearances, multiple clients with bestselling books, a client with a 7-figure book deal, a client growing her business from 3k/month to 25k in six months, and a single mom closing 38K in sales in her first two months working with Kim.

Since January, Kim and her team have been madly working to transition the company from Kim Flynn Consulting to Entrepreneur Simplified. The changes in the company branding will allow them to work with a larger audience (including men) as well as launch an online entrepreneur MBA program. Kim is filming multiple 16-week courses herself for the new school, and is working with 14 other professors to get their content filmed and hosted on the new platform. The MBA school with Entrepreneur Simplified will launch January 2016.
