Lockheed Martin has one of the most extensive multinational corporate travel programs and recently selected Travelocity Business as its agency of record.
Travelocity Business customized a travel program and online tool specifically based on Lockheed Martin’s needs and requests, which meant designing a program from the ground-up.
In order to let Lockheed Martin employees know that Travelocity Business was coming to town, TBiz developed an extensive internal marketing campaign targeting Lockheed employees that focused around the Roaming Gnome and Travelocity Business’ award-winning services.
Launch posters were developed for Lockheed to display around its offices. Welcome kits and wallet cards were developed to give employees detailed information on Travelocity Business’ benefits and services. Fun chochkies, like Roaming Gnome stress relievers, were distributed to Lockheed personnel.
Online banners also were developed with a picture of the Roaming Gnome and copy saying “Watch For The Gnome” to post on Lockheed’s intranet. Newsletters and other employee communications were written and distributed to personnel and posted on Lockheed’s intranet announcing the travel program.
Travelocity Business also developed a success toolbox for the travel program complete with travel best practices, promotions, orientation tools and tips for Lockheed personnel.
