1. Tell the story about what this nominated team achieved in the past year (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:
The product development team at Eagle’s Flight consistently designs progressive solutions for the training needs of our clients.
Late in 2005, our ingenious development team had only six weeks to fulfill the need for a fun, unique, and effective experiential training program for 3000 employees of a large organization. However, the challenge didn’t end there; the program had to meet a lower price point. In addition, the client had requisite learning points to achieve and the program had to be self-run while yielding the same successful result were it supported by a facilitator.
The team developed Jungle Fire, an exciting and engaging journey through the Amazon jungle in search of the greatest number of diamonds. Jungle Fire was designed for audiences with a minimum of 500 participants and built so that only an administrator was needed to run it. A highly entertaining DVD describes the scenario beautifully, explains all of the rules clearly, and runs the experiences and the clock for the two-hour session. The program is highly interactive and engrossing; the five members of each team have distinctive
roles and the components are tangible, enhancing engagement in the experience. The participants are guided, by the DVD, through the debrief which encourages team discussion and growth.
The client was thrilled with the success of the program. Their objectives were met by both hitting the right price point and achieving the key learning objectives, which included maximizing results through planning, managing risk, recognizing the value of information, and creating a What’s Possible mindset. Participants were fully engaged and loved the program and we now have an addition to our collection of conference programs that fills a large niche in the marketplace.
The product development team met another challenge by conceiving a new customer
service program that would meet the needs of varied departments and levels. The client had been with another vendor for many years so the challenge lay in developing a new program that would address various service relationship aspects for an audience of 6000 and give them a tool they would both use and value.
The solution was Powering Service Excellence, a program that focuses on the individuals choice to provide excellent service. The program gave their organization a common language around internal and external relationships. By aligning management and employee visions, they were able to develop a unified approach to creating and maintaining exceptional customer service expectations. By incorporating experiential components, it was possible to fully engage all of the participants and give them a tool that had value for them.
Powering Service Excellence has now become fully integrated into this client’s culture and has helped to set the standard of what customer service means to their organization. This program will be globally available to companies needing an effective tool to establish exceptional customer service.
Our product development team consistently demonstrates a unified spirit focused on a common goal of delivering unique and customized solutions to our clients and creating training programs to fill gaps in the marketplace.
