David Gershon, 40, president/CEO, founded SuperDerivatives at age 34.  As global head of FX options at Barclays Bank (London), Gershon identified a void in the options marketplace, which led to finding SuperDerivatives.

 

Gershon was an options trader at BZW and Deutsche Bank.  He began his Wall Street career in 1994 at Nation’sBank.  He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics (Superstring theory) and an MBA and M. Sc. in Finance. 

 

SuperDerivatives has earned many accolades since its founding in 2001:  Euromoney (award winner - three consecutive years); Risk Magazine (ranked #1 in analytics); Institutional Investor (rated among top 40 online financial companies 2005/06) and FX Week (best banks for second consecutive year).
