The challenges confronting today’s world are global – and so is Siemens. With a presence in some 190 countries, the company can offer customers fast, local, tailor-made solutions. And that gives it a decisive competitive edge. Its roughly 336,000 employees work at 1,640 locations around the globe, including 176 R&D facilities.

Germany remains a stable domestic market for Siemens. Siemens is an integrated technology company that continues to focus its portfolio of products and solutions on energy efficiency, industrial productivity and modern healthcare systems. Siemens is further refining its profile as a leading provider of climate protection technologies. With around 128,400 employees and about 10,000 trainees the company is still one of the largest private employers in Germany.
