In its sixth year, Jeunesse made direct selling history by becoming the youngest company to reach billion-dollar annual sales. Reaching this impressive milestone is a tough act to follow. However, in 2016 Jeunesse continued its amazing growth trajectory, finishing the year up over $300 million with sales of $1.41 billion.

The team behind this extraordinary success includes: Randy Ray (Co-Founder and CEO), Wendy Lewis (Co-Founder and COO), and Scott Lewis (Chief Visionary Officer). This talented team has sustained high growth for several consecutive years, with an impressive seven-year growth rate of 4,600%.

The company’s growth has earned Jeunesse a spot on the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America for the past three years. In 2016, Jeunesse was the only direct seller on the list, ranking #481 with a three-year growth rate of 791%.

In addition, the company’s growth clearly outpaces that of the top-tier direct selling companies. Having steadily climbed the ranks of the Direct Selling News Global 100, Jeunesse is among the top 15 direct selling companies in the world, ranked at #14, and was awarded the DSN Bravo Growth Award for increasing annual sales by $1 billion from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Jeunesse grew 29.4% compared to the 3% to 5% estimated growth for the industry. The company’s growth also compares favorably with its peer group — companies with revenue of $1 billion or more. While Jeunesse achieved growth of nearly 30%, peer companies averaged a 1.3% decline. Of the 19 other companies in this top 20 peer group, only six achieved growth last year, with an average of 4%. Looking at sustained growth, Jeunesse also compares very favorably with the industry with a three-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 342.3% vs. industry CAGR of 7.2%.

In 2016, the Jeunesse executive team oversaw the implementation of its annual strategic plan that resulted in:
• Market openings in Canada and Brazil
• Corporate office openings in Malaysia, Singapore and Utah
• The grand opening of a new 130,000 square foot World Headquarters building in Florida

The company’s extensive global footprint contributed significantly to growth with top markets averaging over 250%. Top growing markets in 2016 were:

• Brazil (966%)
• Italy (103%)
• Philippines (91%)
• Russia (63%)
• Thailand (41%).

Strategic new product development has also contributed to company growth. In 2016, Jeunesse launched two new consumer products to complement its Youth Enhancement System™.

The company’s nonprofit foundation also saw growth in 2016, when $1.4 million was raised to for Jeunesse Kids to help give children a brighter future through local community based initiatives supporting basic human needs, education, and the protection of neglected and maltreated children.

The Jeunesse executive management includes a diverse array of talent and experience within the direct selling industry and other private company sectors. The business savvy, information technology skills, human resource management and visionary leadership skills of this team combined to guide Jeunesse through seven successful years of extraordinary growth to a billion-dollar brand with a presence on six continents across the globe.

Provide a brief (up to 125 words) biography about the leader of the nominated management team:

Not many would guess that a man who grew up so impoverished that he didn't own shoes and ate mud pies to stave off hunger pains would have an unshakable belief in his future.

The son of a sharecropper, Randy grew up in deep poverty in western Tennessee. Despite a severely disadvantaged youth, Randy held a strong belief that he was destined for success. This belief helped him break free from poverty to attend college, majoring in computer science, and later design a computer system used to launch NASA shuttles.

As the award-winning CEO of Jeunesse, Randy has lead a talented executive management team with the same heart and grit that lifted him out of poverty to become a successful business owner and compassionate leader
