    Volusion eCommerce’s support team is available 24/7 to customers using their
    hosted solutions. Whether a store owner is paying $29.95 a month for a steel
    plan or $499.95 a month for a semi-dedicated solution, he or she can call,
    email, or chat with a Volusion support rep whenever they need assistance.

    With every email, customers are able to submit reviews of their experience.
    Volusion support scored 95 percent in customer satisfaction for 2007. Customers
    with higher traffic volume have access to Volusion’s VIP cue.

    In 2007, Volusion released its highly anticipated Version 5. Since the
    software’s structure differed greatly in Version 5 than it did in Version 4,
    many store owners with custom programming would need to make changes to the code
    of their stores in order for their custom programming to function properly.
    Volusion’s Support Manager walked these customers step-by-step on the changes
    they would see in Version 5. This left merchants better prepared for upgrading
    to the more css-driven version of the software.

    Gary is an alumnus of the University of Louisville’s College of Business and
    Public Administration. He graduated in 2002 with a degree in information
    systems management and a minor in international business. Gary was previously a
    Systems Administrator for Colgate Palmolive and also spent four years in Japan
    working as an English instructor. He was recently appointed Volusion support
    Team Lead, and his primary objective for his team is to adhere by customer
    support’s golden rule of treating customers as you would want to be treated
    yourself.
