2. Briefly describe this site's objectives and how it has met those objectives (up to 125 words):

The VerticalResponse Marketing Blog provides fresh content nearly every day. A team of 28 authors contributes to the blog – up from 15 authors the previous year. The blog has two goals: 1) offer small business readers a variety of actionable marketing news and tips, and 2) increase readership. In 2013 and 2014, we implemented several new initiatives, including partnering with EByline, a marketplace for writers, to bring in new expert bloggers. We also produced 30 infographics in 2013 (versus five in 2012), which have been wildly popular and were picked up by Fast Company magazine and others.

Readership has increased: visits were up 79 percent in Q1 2014 versus Q1 of 2013.
Number of visitors increased 78 percent and pageviews increased 75 percent.
