SteelBrick’s users are sales teams looking to minimize the time it takes for sales reps to complete an order, as well as reduce errors. On average, one in five quotes that go to a customer contain an error, leading to higher costs, valuable time wasted, and unhappy customers. Even when using a sophisticated sales tool such as Salesforce, salespeople often have to supplement the price quote process with Excel and Word documents. In addition, this manual process does not automatically update their sales pipeline, causing processes to be fragmented and outdated.

SteelBrick has more than 200 mid-size, high-growth companies including Cloudera, Nimble Storage, Nutanix, and HootSuite, as well as enterprise companies including Mitsubishi and Honeywell. More than 25 new customers signed up with SteelBrick in Q4 2014 including new US-based customers ABILITY Network, Deltek, Domo, Gigamon, and Metalogix. SteelBrick’s CPQ enables these companies to rapidly scale their business and sales teams. SteelBrick CPQ software streamlines selling by delivering easy to use apps and automation within the Salesforce platform. It gives salespeople the tools to configure accurate sales quotes and prices from anywhere at any time. Sales quotes and pricing that are created and managed in SteelBrick’s CPQ automatically reflect into sales pipelines and are updated on Salesforce dashboards and reports, reducing time spent on manual processes and ensuring real-time visibility and accuracy.

In Q4 2014, SteelBrick achieved 4.3X (330 percent) year-over-year revenue growth, fueled by the addition of many new marquis enterprise and mid-market customers as well as an average 151 percent revenue growth with existing customers. The rapid expansion of the company's team of CPQ experts (15x employee growth over FY Q4 2014, ending January 31, 2015) and company bookings (almost 500 percent over FY Q4 2014) have further accelerated SteelBrick's position as the next generation leader for configure, price, quote (CPQ) software applications.

The company’s fast growth has been credited to the immense focus on and dedication to the customer experience. In the most recent Winter ‘15 release, more than 80 percent of the new features were sourced from customers using the SteelBrick Ideas platform. The company has found that customers stick with the product when their needs are met which has led to a 97 percent customer renewal rate and 151 percent net contract value renewal rate.
