Tell the story about what this nominated organization/department achieved since January 1 2010 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

PetRays Veterinary Telemedicine Consultants (PetRays) makes Board Certified Veterinary Specialists available to virtually every veterinary practice world wide. PetRays was founded in 2006 with the mission of providing high quality healthcare to animals and domestic pets in a timely manner and with a great sense of urgency.

With outstanding marketing and support personnel in place, PetRays became a
recognized leader in the veterinary industry by the end of 2007.  In 2008,
company revenues increased 397% when compared to 2007 revenues.  By the end of
2008, PetRays had become a multi-million dollar company. 2009 revenues
increased by over 200% compared to 2008.  PetRays earned a spot on the Inc. 500
list ranking as the 133rd fastest growing company in the U.S.

PetRays also markedly increased market share in 2009 by expanding the customer
base by over 300%. Customer base increased another 250% in 2010.  PetRays sales
and demand generation efforts resulted in active clients in all 50 states,
Canada, Australia, and Europe.

The comprehensive marketing strategy consisted of print ad, direct mail
campaigns, trade show attendance, telemarketing, promotional give-away and
viral marketing.  2010 was a year of tweaking the budget and target audience
from 2009 while maintaining a high level of success.

The success of any marketing department is ultimately judged on the actual
results and cost-benefit ratios to achieve those results.  The efforts of the
PetRays 2010 marketing department exceeded all pro forma estimates and did so
35% under allocated budget.  Marketing results are even more remarkable
considering the lagging economy and overall decrease in spending in the
veterinary market in 2010.

The PetRays marketing department efforts resulted in several significant 2010
milestones:

- Revenue growth of over 200%
- Over 250% increase in customer base
- Greater than 98% customer retention rate
- Over 100% increase in current customer utilization
- Over 99% positive feedback for both sales and support departments
- 70% decrease in service calls despite 250% growth rate by identifying common
service issues and implementing specific sales training upfront

In summary, PetRays marketing department continued to excel in 2010 despite the
lagging economy and helped PetRays achieve many significant milestones.   The
marketing efforts exceeded all expected results and did so markedly under
budget.  With the increased revenues and the decreased spending, PetRays was
able to continue to build a solid
