BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:

The management team increased full-time staffing from 34 to 58 employees and began the planning and construction of a larger office space in the Norwalk, Connecticut area.

GIVING BACK:

April 2012, marked the one-year anniversary of the launch of the company’s perpetual giving program, Mission to Millions. This philanthropic initiative allows customers to direct North American Power funds to deserving charities each month when they pay their bill ($1 per new customer, per month). Led by Chief Marketing Officer, Greg Breitbart, Mission to Millions gave more than $90,000 in its first year (2011) and nearly $330,000 in 2012 to charity partners across the United States. To date, Mission to Millions has given more $500,000 to partner organizations in this one-for-one program.

RENEWABLE ENERGY:

North American Power is dedicated to improving America’s energy independence by providing greater access to homegrown renewable energy in all 50 states. Since inception, the company has provided the most renewable standard electricity product in the deregulated markets it serves. Increasing its commitment to greening the grid, the company launched American Wind, a Green- e® Energy certified 100% renewable energy option. Thanks to increased investment of resources by the management team, American Wind saw a 974% increase in sales between 2011 and 2012. North American Power was recognized for its commitment to local renewable energy initiatives with the Connecticut Green Business Award in 2012. Along with providing sustainable energy options, North American Power launched its first public awareness campaign, informing the public about its renewable energy choices, when it expanded services to the New Hampshire market.

INCOME CREATION:

In 2012, North American Power was named to Direct Selling News’ Global 100 list as one of the top revenue-generating direct selling companies in the world, thanks to the company’s robust customer referral opportunity. The model developed by North American Power’s management team combines the ease of customer referral with the earning power of direct sales whereby each customer who switches to North American Power has the opportunity to earn cash rewards. Plus, customers who are interested in pursuing greater earnings can sign on to be an independent representative to take advantage of a zero-risk, zero-investment home-based business opportunity.

LEADERSHIP:
