   1. Tell the story about what this nominee achieved in 2004 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

With a successful career at Knoll Pharmaceutical under his belt, Steven Ayoola
was ready for a challenge.  That challenge would come at Ther-Rx, the branded
pharmaceutical division of KV Pharmaceutical.   Steven joined Ther-Rx on January
3, 2000 with a desire to help build the start-up company as one of the 13 sales
representatives hired originally to start this endeavor.  Steven proved
instrumental in building Ther-Rx to its’ current $100 million in sales and over 210 sales representatives in just five years.

Steven, a native of Nigeria, calls on the tough Queens/Brooklyn, New York territory as a Specialty Sales Representative with prescription products for women’s health.  His amazing ability to bridge his culturally diverse territory, make an
impact and connect with the healthcare providers on every call, his can-do attitude
and “find a way to win” philosophy as well as his unrelenting closing skills
combine to make Steven the most successful representative in Ther-Rx’s history.

The only sales representative to receive Ther-Rx’s highest sales force honor,
President Club, every year since it’s inception four year ago, Steven was also the
first representative to break the 1,000-prescription per month  mark with Gynazole-
1®, Ther-Rx’s flagship product, Steven was the only representative to reach this
mark for nearly a year.  In fiscal year 2005, Steven’s Gynazole-1® market share
stood at almost three times the national average.  Steven achieved his tremendous
sales performance while acting as the District Trainer and attending the
Management Development Program.  His value to the company, leadership and
sales performance have been truly exceptional.

“Ther-Rx has provided an excellent opportunity to develop my career and
contribute to building something that previously did not exist.  In five years
we have come a long way and it has been very gratifying to be such an intricate part of the organization,” explained Steven.

Steven has always found a way to reach his goals through determination and
focused attention to the customer.  He is effective in telling the Ther-Rx story
and showing the incredible benefits that the product portfolio provides to the
patients.  “Our products are the best in class”, added Steven.  “It is my job to
communicate the benefits and convince the physicians of the bioadhesive and
sustained release technology.  If I sell effectively, there is no reason for
them not to do what is best for the patients.  I believe in my products and I hold the
healthcare provided accountable for making the best decision for the patients.”

Established in 1999, Ther-Rx Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of KV
Pharmaceutical, competes primarily by selling  branded prescription women’s
healthcare products to high prescribing OB/Gyns. Utilizing KV’s proprietary drug
delivery technologies, Ther-Rx has differentiated existing compounds to fill unmet
needs of patients, while often eliminating undesired side effects. In addition, the
company has agreements in over  50 countries to sell its flagship product
Gynazole-1®, a one dose treatment for vaginal yeast infections.  Ther-Rx revenues
have compounded at an annual rate of nearly 54% over the last five years.
