GPS PAL allows customers to track adventures, capture photos, videos, and notes with automatic GPS tagging, and sync them to a web journal. The app's experience design generated a variety of engineering challenges — producing a highly accurate GPS tracking app that was battery-conscious, executing an ambitious, custom journal interface, and working across three platforms — Android, iPhone, and web — seamlessly via an API.

By April 2013 GPS PAL had 270+ reviews in the Apple App Store with an average rating of 4.5 stars. Additionally GPS PAL was featured in the App Store four times including, “New and Noteworthy.” Tens of thousands of accounts were created within the first 2 weeks of the app being release and there have been dozens of enthusiastic reviews.
