iCrossing developed a deal-a-day holiday promotion site for Epson
http://www.epson.com/Coolville that used humor and campaign-specific creative
to drive sales for the month of December. Each day, users were presented with
an offer preceded by a 3 to 5 second humorous scene featuring the quirky
residents of Coolville and groan-inducing visual puns. The campaign exceeded
all client metrics for success:
• Epson experienced record growth in sales from last year;
• The campaign hit its revenue target within the first 9 days of the
campaign and it exceeded Epson’s stretch goal;
• Return on ad spend surpassed the 9:1 mark.
