    www.hp.com is a critical entry point to HP and its 10,000+ products, accessories and services from pre-merger HP and Compaq. Our objective for the site is to provide relevant content efficiently and effectively the way each visitor wants it regardless of their desired task. To meet this objective, HP constantly evolves its Web site to meet customer needs. For example, during the HP/Compaq merger, HP used the Web site as a key communications vehicle to customers, and presented a single face to the world on Day One of the merger without disrupting access. Subsequently, in November 2002, HP launched a redesigned site offering: 1) easy, intuitive and streamlined access to information, purchase and support targed to specific customer segments; 2) new verbiage that provides a clear call-to-action.
