Shortly after being recognized by the Wall St Journal and Lore Magazine as the
4th ranked real estate professional in the United States in 2007, Jason Benham
grew his office network from 15 offices nationwide to over 70 offices in
2008.  In 2008, Jason's company, the Benham Real Estate Group, closed over 900
real estate transactions and landed him once again at the top of the real
estate industry.  His franchise company, the Benham REO Group, has become the
largest brokerage network of foreclosure specialists in the country.  By
building and developing a proprietary online tracking system to handle the
large volume of foreclosures in the nation, Jason catapulted his companies to
the top of the real estate and default industry in 2008.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Award

Benham Real Estate Group is a Blue Ribbon Small Business
 
WASHINGTON, DC—Benham Real Estate Group in Concord, North Carolina has been
honored today with a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award.
Nominated by the CaBarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce, the award was given in
recognition of the company’s dedication to excellence in several categories.
 
“Winners of the Blue Ribbon Small Business Award represent the country’s
finest small business success stories,” said Tom Donohue, Chamber president and
CEO. “Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy, representing more
than 99% of all employers, creating three-fourths of all new jobs, and
accounting for more than one-half of the nation’s gross domestic product.”
 
The Blue Ribbon Small Business Award, sponsored by Sam’s Club, was designed to
honor businesses that excel in a variety of selection criteria, including
financial performance and business history, staff training and motivation,
community involvement, customer service, and business planning.
 
Winners of the award from around the country will be honored at America’s
Small Business Summit
2008 April 16 – 18, in Washington, D.C. The award is part of the Chamber’s
Small Business of the Year selection process. One Blue Ribbon Small Business
will be selected from each of seven regions as a finalist for the U.S. Chamber
Small Business of the Year Award. The finalists will be announced on March 7.

Former professional baseball player, Jason Benham has excelled both on and off
the field of athletics.  The combination of skill, timing, athleticism, and
strategy that once benefited him on the baseball field catapulted him to the
top of the real estate market in early 2003 shortly after retiring from
professional baseball.  Jason, and his twin brother David, founded the Benham
REO Group  to assist Banks & Asset Management Companies with the management &
sale of their foreclosed properties on the retail market.
